Colloquial Proofreading for Video Scripts

When to Use

• After completing the first draft of the script
• When users say "proofread the script" or "it's too formal"
• When the script needs to sound more colloquial

Core Objectives

• Remove formal language and fully colloquialize the script
• Suitable for speaking aloud (without stuttering)
• Sound like Huasheng speaking in front of the camera

Three-Round Proofreading (Video-Specific)

First Round: Content Proofreading

• Accurate facts and feasible demonstrations
• Clear logic and coherent steps
• Reasonable duration (150-180 words per minute)

Second Round: Colloquial Proofreading (Core)

• ❌ "Next, we will proceed to..." → ✅ "Let's..."
• ❌ "Perform the operation" → ✅ "Click"
• ❌ "Achieve the function" → ✅ "Do it"
• ❌ "In summary" → ✅ Summarize directly

• ✅ "Actually", "Look", "Here", "Then"
• ✅ "To be honest", "I previously", "This is crucial"

• Use short sentences (no more than 20 words)
• Use periods to break sentences, avoid long sentences connected by commas
• Read aloud and rewrite any parts that cause stuttering

Third Round: Demonstration Annotations

• Mark where to cut the screen and where to use close-ups
• Check rhythm and pauses
• Simulate the actual recording process
