The goal is to detect when you are viewing an archive.org item or collection, surface the available files in a clear list, let you pick the formats and quality levels you want, and handle the download without requiring external applications or technical knowledge.

How It Will Work

- Install the extension once it is released.
- Navigate to any item page, collection, or Wayback Machine URL on archive.org.
- Open the extension popup to see the detected media files and their available formats.

- Start the download and the extension will fetch the files directly to your local machine.
- For batch jobs, monitor progress through the built-in download queue.
- Access completed downloads in your browser's standard download folder.

Downloaded files will match the formats already hosted on archive.org. The extension surfaces what is available rather than performing conversions, so you get the exact files the Archive provides.
