Manage Dinox Storage

Runtime Contract

Use the host agent's local process-execution tool. Keep every user-provided value as one argument; never interpolate untrusted text into shell source.

A direct user request for an exact write authorizes that write when the dry-run matches. Ask again before delete, overwrite, merge, bulk mutation, local-cache removal, repair, global CLI update, or whenever targets or impact are ambiguous.
A dry-run does not apply the planned mutation, but an online PowerSync runtime may flush older queued writes. Use

only when the user accepts stale local-cache semantics.
Do not ask for Dinox authentication credentials in chat or place a Dinox authentication token in argv. The

in an environment that can access the intended CLI binary, Dinox config/cache, and injected secret. Host-turn secret injection does not automatically cross into a sandbox or remote execution backend; never copy a secret through prompts to bridge that boundary.
If the host times out before receiving a structured envelope, treat the outcome as unknown. Verify freshness or the write postcondition before retrying.
Before claiming complete, current, all, none, latest, or an exact count, verify the command's freshness field is false (usually

Safety & Boundaries (Must Follow)

Treat storage credentials and endpoint details as sensitive data. Never echo

back to the user.

writes and removes a tiny object in S3. Always run its dry-run first. An explicit request to test that exact target authorizes the real test when the preview matches.

writes to S3 and local Dinox metadata. An explicit request to upload that exact file to that exact target authorizes the write after a matching dry-run; ask again when the target is ambiguous.
Prefer

Do not ask the user to paste auth tokens into chat. If auth is required, instruct them to set

An explicit

refuses to replace an existing main object or derived image thumbnail by default. The current dry-run does not query object existence or enumerate the derived thumbnail key, so use

only after the user explicitly accepts potential replacement of the explicit main key and any derived image thumbnail.
Reject object keys and configured path prefixes containing dot-only

Workflow

For browse requests, run

For uploads, first identify the target config:

. If the real non-overwrite upload reports a collision, prefer a new key. Add

only when the user separately accepts potential replacement of the explicit main key and any derived image thumbnail.

Important Notes

only targets custom S3 configs. If no custom storage is configured, the user must create one in the app first.

Error Handling

If no custom storage config is available, tell the user to configure a custom storage target in the app first.
If there is no active custom storage config and multiple configs exist, ask the user to pick one and use

If S3 upload fails due to endpoint, bucket, region, or credentials, tell the user the custom storage config is incomplete or invalid and they should verify it in the app.
If the CLI reports
