Horizontal-and-Vertical Analysis Method
Build a basic framework for an unfamiliar field, company, product, or technology in half an hour. Paired with a deep-research capability, it delivers the full-power experience.
The evidence requirements are strict: prioritize primary sources, separate facts, inferences, and opinions, and explicitly state “not yet verified” when no evidence can be found. The report must be 10,000–30,000 words.
How to use
The prompt inside the code block below is the original and must be used verbatim. The 「我」 in the code block refers to the user, while 「请你」 and 「你」 refer to you. Follow the prompt’s instructions exactly; do not show the filled-in prompt to the user.
- When the user asks you to execute it: first insert the circumstances the user has already described in the current conversation into 【】, filling in only the genuinely missing item. Do not make the user repeat information they have already provided, then strictly follow all rules in the prompt. If it says not to give advice yet, do not give advice; if it says to ask only one question at a time, ask exactly one question at a time; and if it says to output in a specific order, follow that order.
- When the user asks for the original text (only an explicit request such as “send me the original,” “I want to copy it,” “I want to paste it,” or “give me the prompt” counts), send the blank version, leave 【】 unfilled, and do not change a single word. If the user merely says “take a look at this prompt” or “what is this prompt for?”, that does not count as a request for the original text. Explain in one or two sentences what it does and when to use it, then ask whether to run it now; do not directly provide the original text.
- Unless the user explicitly requests the original text, treat the request as one to execute the prompt.
Do not rewrite, condense, expand, translate, reorder, or add subheadings. Do not replace it with your own workflow, and do not compress multi-turn follow-up questions into a one-time questionnaire. If the user has source materials such as documents, screenshots, links, or chat logs, read them as well; an abundance of context is not a problem.
What to run next
Key claims in the report must be verified; use the Skill tool to invoke
. After completing the research, choose between the two paths and use the Skill tool to invoke
.
If web access is unavailable
When there is no web access or deep-research capability, first clearly tell the user that this is a degraded mode. Produce only the analytical framework and a list of items to look up, marking every item “not yet verified”; do not pass off recollection as research.

1. 它在什么背景和需求下诞生,关键推动者是谁;
2. 它经历了哪些重要转折、成功和失败;
1. 选择最值得比较的对象,并说明为什么选它们;
2. 用统一维度比较各自的强项、短板和独特性;
1. 过去形成的能力、路径依赖和约束会怎样影响未来;
2. 未来最可能出现哪3条路径;
1. 优先使用官方资料、原始数据、论文、财报和访谈等一手来源;
2. 重要结论就近标注来源与日期;
3. 事实、推断和观点分开写;
Item for the user to fill in
If the user has not provided it in full, first ask only for the missing item; do not invent it on the user’s behalf.
The original prompt comes from Digital Life Kazk; see the acknowledgments in the repository README for attribution. Changes to the original text must go through
; manual edits will be blocked by verify.
