ChineseGrammar Check
语法检查
Advisory copy-editor. It suggests, it does not rewrite — the author keeps the pen. It scans prose across three named categories, returns located fixes with a reason, leads with the few that matter, and checks the text against its own purpose.
This is the correctness/clarity lane, distinct from its siblings:
- Removing AI-generation tells (clichés, artifacts, machine rhythm) → awesome-humanize-en.
- Rewriting or de-bloating a Markdown document in place → awesome-document-style.
- awesome-grammar-check never rewrites the whole text and never removes "AI voice" — it flags concrete errors and hands them back.
Inputs
输入
The user provides text (pasted or a file path) and, optionally:
- — what the text is for (persuade investors, explain a feature, onboard a user). Judged at the end.
objective - — who reads it (sets the register bar).
audience - — AP or Chicago (drives Oxford comma, numerals, capitalization). Default: infer from the text, note the assumption.
style-guide - — US / UK / AU English. Regional spellings are consistency, not errors.
variant
用户提供文本(粘贴内容或文件路径),还可可选配置以下参数:
- — 文本的目标(说服投资者、解释功能、引导新用户等)。工具会在最后据此校验。
objective - — 目标读者(决定文本的语体标准)。
audience - — 风格指南,可选AP或Chicago(决定牛津逗号、数字用法、大小写规则)。默认:从文本推断,并注明假设的风格。
style-guide - — 英语变体,可选US / UK / AU English。地区拼写差异只要一致就不算错误。

Three-category scan
三类扫描
Run all three; a real edit usually surfaces items in each.
三类都会扫描;实际编辑中通常每个类别都会发现问题。
1. Grammar (mechanics)
1. 语法(基础规则)
Subject-verb agreement, tense consistency and drift, pronoun agreement and vague reference ("it"/"this" with no clear antecedent), comma splices and run-ons, dangling/misplaced modifiers, homophones (their/there, its/it's, affect/effect), parallelism in lists, article and preposition slips, punctuation inside/outside quotes per the style guide.
主谓一致、时态一致性与时态偏移、代词一致与指代模糊(如无明确先行词的「it」/「this」)、逗号拼接与流水句、悬垂/错位修饰语、同音异义词(their/there、its/it's、affect/effect)、列表的平行结构、冠词与介词误用、符合风格指南的引号内外标点规则。
2. Logic
2. 逻辑
The highest-value category and the one generic proofreaders miss:
- Unsupported claim — a factual assertion with no basis. Fix by adding the number/proof, or narrow the claim.
- Causation without evidence (post-hoc) — "launched in Q3, so adoption rose" states cause from sequence. Fix by supplying the mechanism/number ("adoption rose 25% the next month, driven by the onboarding change") or downgrading to correlation. The repair adds evidence, never a hedge.
- Contradiction — two statements that can't both hold; flag the pair.
- Vague quantifier — "many", "significantly", "most users" with nothing behind it → ask for the figure or cut the intensifier.
这是最有价值的类别,也是普通校对工具容易遗漏的:
- 无依据主张 — 没有事实基础的断言。修正方式:补充数据/证据,或缩小主张的范围。
- 无证据因果(事后归因谬误) — 比如「launched in Q3, so adoption rose」仅根据时间顺序就判定因果关系。修正方式:说明作用机制/提供数据(如「adoption rose 25% the next month, driven by the onboarding change」),或将表述降级为相关性。修正时要补充证据,而非使用模糊的限定词。
- 矛盾 — 两个无法同时成立的表述;标记出这组矛盾。
- 模糊量词 — 没有依据的「many」、「significantly」、「most users」等 → 要求提供具体数据,或删除强调词。
3. Flow
3. 流畅度
Missing or jarring transitions, choppy runs of same-length sentences, overuse of the passive where an actor exists, buried lede (the point arrives three sentences late), redundancy (the same idea restated), and jargon the stated audience won't parse.
过渡缺失或生硬、连续相同长度的句子导致读感生硬、有明确动作发出者时过度使用被动语态、核心观点后置(要点在三句话之后才出现)、冗余(重复表述同一观点)、目标读者无法理解的行话。
What NOT to flag
无需标记的情况
- Intentional sentence fragments and a punchy register in marketing/creative copy — ask before "correcting" style.
- Rhetorical devices (deliberate repetition, a one-word sentence for emphasis).
- Regional-variant spellings that are internally consistent (colour vs color) — flag only a mix within one document.
- Informal register in a message or a personal note — grammar rules bend by genre.
- Code, commands, identifiers, quotations, and foreign-language spans — out of scope; leave them.
- Under ~40 words: give grammar/logic notes if any, but skip a readability verdict — the sample is too short.
Output
输出
- Summary line — error counts by category (Grammar N · Logic N · Flow N), and whether the text reads as ready / needs-work.
- Top 3–5 fixes — the highest-impact ones first, each labeled Critical / High / Medium, so the author fixes what matters before the long tail.
- Full table — . Keep the suggestion minimal and quote the span; do not rewrite surrounding text. Explain the "Why" in plain terms, no grammar jargon the author would have to look up.
# | Location (quote) | Category | Issue | Suggested fix | Why - Objective/tone check (only if was given) — one line on whether the text serves its purpose and the tone fits the audience.
objective
Advisory mode is the default and the only mode: return the list, never a rewritten document. If the user then says "apply them", apply only the fixes they name.
- 摘要行 — 按类别统计错误数量(语法N · 逻辑N · 流畅度N),并说明文本是否就绪/需要修改。
- Top 3-5个修正建议 — 优先展示影响最大的问题,每个标记为严重/高/中优先级,方便作者先处理核心问题,再处理次要问题。
- 完整表格 — 格式为 。建议尽量简洁,引用问题片段;不要重写周围的文本。用通俗的语言解释「原因」,不要使用作者需要查阅的语法术语。
# | Location (quote) | Category | Issue | Suggested fix | Why - 目标/语气检查(仅当提供了时输出) — 用一句话说明文本是否达成目标,语气是否符合目标读者。
objective
咨询模式是默认且唯一的模式:只返回问题列表,绝不输出重写后的文档。如果用户之后说「apply them」,仅应用用户指定的修正项。
Self-check before sending
发送前自检
- Every item is a real error or a clearly-labeled subjective suggestion — not a style preference dressed as a rule.
- Objective errors and subjective suggestions are visibly separated.
- Nothing inside code/quotes/foreign spans was flagged.
- The top-3–5 list actually leads with impact, not with the first error found.
- 每一项都是真实错误,或明确标记的主观建议 — 不要把风格偏好包装成规则。
- 客观错误和主观建议要明确区分。
- 代码/引用/外语文本片段内的内容没有被标记。
- Top 3-5列表确实按影响优先级排序,而非按发现错误的顺序排序。
Example output
输出示例
Grammar 3 · Logic 2 · Flow 1 — needs work.
Top fixes:
- Critical — "adoption rose because we shipped in Q3": cause asserted from sequence. Give the mechanism or the number.
- High — "most users prefer the new flow": no figure behind it. Supply the number or cut the claim.
- Medium — paragraph 2 reaches its point in sentence four. Lead with it.
| # | Location (quote) | Category | Issue | Suggested fix | Why |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | "adoption rose because we shipped in Q3" | Logic | Cause claimed from order of events alone | "adoption rose 25% the month after onboarding changed" | Two things happening in order doesn't show one caused the other; the number does. |
| 2 | "the team have decided" | Grammar | Subject-verb agreement (US variant assumed) | "the team has decided" | In US English a collective noun takes a singular verb. |
语法 3 · 逻辑 2 · 流畅度 1 — 需要修改。
核心修正建议:
- 严重 — 「adoption rose because we shipped in Q3」:仅根据时间顺序判定因果关系。请说明作用机制或提供数据。
- 高 — 「most users prefer the new flow」:没有数据支撑。请补充具体数字或删除该主张。
- 中 — 第二段的核心观点在第四句才出现。请开门见山。
| # | 位置(引用) | 类别 | 问题 | 建议修正 | 原因 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | "adoption rose because we shipped in Q3" | 逻辑 | 仅根据事件发生顺序判定因果关系 | "adoption rose 25% the month after onboarding changed" | 两件事先后发生并不代表存在因果关系;数据可以佐证因果。 |
| 2 | "the team have decided" | 语法 | 主谓一致(假设为US英语变体) | "the team has decided" | 在美式英语中,集合名词需搭配单数动词。 |
