Custom Apex adapter generation for Salesforce Connect — connects any external REST API to Salesforce as live, queryable External Objects without ETL or data copying. TRIGGER when: user wants to connect a non-standard external API to Salesforce, asks to write a DataSource.Provider or DataSource.Connection, wants to surface external data as Salesforce records, says "connect my API to Salesforce without copying data", or asks whether custom Apex is the right approach for any system. Also trigger on: "custom adapter", "ExternalId field", "DataSource namespace". DO NOT TRIGGER when: user is configuring a standard adapter they already have and is NOT asking about custom Apex (e.g., OData endpoint setup, Snowflake connector config). DO NOT TRIGGER when: user wants to copy or bulk-sync data — use platform-data-manage. DO NOT TRIGGER for Apex callouts outside Connect — use platform-apex-generate or integration-connectivity-generate.
Creates and manages Salesforce Connected Apps and External Client Apps with 120-point scoring. Use when configuring OAuth flows, creating connected apps, setting up JWT bearer auth, or managing API access policies.
**INTERNAL USE ONLY — invoked by `service-de-headless-channel-configure` orchestrator.** Insert an Enhanced messaging `MessagingChannel` record (plus its child `MessagingChannelUsage` as a free server-side side-effect) of any supported type — WhatsApp, LINE, Apple Business Chat, Facebook, or SMS (Text). Given a `{MESSAGE_TYPE}` and the corresponding type-specific inputs, runs the shared preflight → Connect-insert → verify flow and branches only where a type genuinely differs (request body, prerequisites, error classes). Uses the sanctioned `POST /services/data/v{V}/connect/livemessage/channels` Connect REST endpoint — no Aura session, no token extracted into shell state. **Users should always invoke `service-de-headless-channel-configure` instead — it handles insert → route → activate in one flow.** Use this skill when inserting a messaging channel of any type; it replaces the four former per-type creation skills.
