Compile LaTeX papers to PDF with automatic error detection, chktex style checking, and citation/reference validation. Runs the full pdflatex + bibtex pipeline. Use when the user wants to compile a paper, fix compilation errors, or debug LaTeX.
This Skill is used when users only need to retrieve candidate papers, establish an auditable literature pool, and prepare candidate literature for research topic selection or other downstream evidence-based tasks. It performs query contract verification, multi-source retrieval, standardization, deduplication, source tracking, and outputs a verifiable manifest bundle; it is not responsible for relevance scoring, final paper selection, review writing, BibTeX or PDF/Word export. It can also be called as a required dependency by research-literature-review.
Use when the user wants to set up or troubleshoot a LaTeX environment, choose between biber and bibtex, install packages for a specific venue template, or configure compilation. Triggers on phrases like "setup latex", "biber vs bibtex", "latex compilation error", "install latex packages", "venue template", or "texlive setup".
This skill is to be used when users explicitly request to 'verify/optimize in-text citations in the review `{topic}_review.tex`', 'run research-citation-check', or request to use the old name check-review-alignment skill. It uses the host AI's semantic understanding to verify each citation against the corresponding literature content one by one. Only when a fatal citation error is detected will the 'sentence containing the citation' be minimally rewritten. It prioritizes reusing the rendering script of `research-literature-review` to output PDF/Word, and allows fallback to the old name systematic-literature-review during the transition period. Core principle: Do not make changes for the sake of changing; when it is impossible to determine whether it is a fatal error, keep the original content and issue a warning in the report. ⚠️ Not applicable: When users only want to generate the main body of a systematic review (should use research-literature-review); when users only want to add/verify BibTeX entries (should use the dedicated bib management process).
Structured literature search and synthesis with citation extraction and gap identification
Perform cross-source validation on academic literature entry by entry, compare fields including authors, titles, years, volumes/issue numbers, and page numbers, mark issues such as conflicts between volume year and DOI year, abnormal author order, and page number deviations, and output a structured verification report. It supports batch processing of reference lists in entire papers/proposal reports, single-entry verification, and synchronous correction with Zotero.
Professional document preparation with LaTeX for academic papers, resumes, books, presentations, and formal documents
Search arXiv papers by keyword, author, category, or ID.
Write the analysis of domestic and international research status and development trends plus literature commentary for NSFC proposals. Trigger this skill when the user requests to write an NSFC literature review, domestic and international research status, literature review, literature commentary, or Section 1.2 of an NSFC proposal.
Careful bibliography verification and entry-addition for papers — verify every author, title, journal, volume, pages, year, arXiv ID, and DOI against authoritative online sources (INSPIRE, arXiv, CrossRef/DOI, zbMATH, publisher) before anything enters or stays in a .bib file. Use whenever adding bib entries, auditing a bibliography, checking citations, fixing references, or when asked to "check the references". Encodes the report-then-fix pattern for full-file audits and the folklore-error traps (wrong years, truncated author lists, mislabeled keys).
